Powerful not Powerless

‘Powerful not Powerless’ is a campaign which uses the modification of type to celebrate the power of sexual assault survivors, a community brought together initially by circumstance, but now action. One in three women worldwide have experienced sexual violence and it is time to do something about it. The modification of type from powerless to powerful demonstrates the power of 
survivors. This idea reinforced by the slogan, ‘shed a light’, encourages women to come together, share their stories and be POWERFUL. The posters use this slogan directly by utilising reflective ink to represent the change from powerless to powerful.
